Palm Beach Gardens Epoxy Flooring
Palm Beach Gardens is golf courses, gated streets and newer construction, with PGA Boulevard and the Gardens Mall area holding most of the shops, offices and restaurants. Coating a Newer Gardens Garage
Communities like Alton and Avenir are still filling in, and a lot of homes in the Gardens come with a plain gray garage slab. New concrete is the easiest kind to coat well. There is no oil soaked in and no old paint to strip. It still gets diamond ground, because a fresh slab is smooth and often carries a curing compound that a coating will not grip.
New also means the concrete may still be giving off moisture. A slab poured in the last several months can read wet. We test before we recommend a system, and if it needs more time or a moisture-mitigating primer, we tell you so.
Then there is the heat. Most Gardens garages are not air-conditioned, the door faces the sun for part of the day, and hot tires sit on the floor after every drive. Hot-tire pickup happens when a thin coating softens and lifts with the tire. A 100% solids epoxy on a ground slab, under a hard topcoat, is how we keep that from happening. Working Inside a Gated Community
Most of the Gardens sits behind a gate, and every association runs its own rules. Before we pick a date, find out what yours asks of contractors: the gate list, work hours, where a crew truck can park, and any paperwork it wants filed ahead of time. Grinding is loud, so the hours matter. Send us what the office tells you and we plan grinding, coats and cure inside those limits.

The site visit covers the slab, a moisture reading, where sun comes through the door, and what you park and store. We bring samples of the ChemTek, Smith’s Paints and Floor Guard products we install, and you get a fixed written quote for the system we recommend.
